Two Jurisdictions, One Solution
We understand how decisions in one jurisdiction affect the other — so your business doesn't create risk for itself when relocating, expanding or operating across borders.
Urgent Consultation Sweden · Spain ES For business owners, international companies and investors.
Why De Facto
A legal problem rarely exists on its own. An owner's relocation affects the business. A new market affects contracts. International hiring affects immigration and employment matters. A new partner or investor affects ownership, liability and internal agreements. That's why we first assess the whole system: business, people, documents, countries, risks and goals — and only then propose a solution.
We understand how decisions in one jurisdiction affect the other — so your business doesn't create risk for itself when relocating, expanding or operating across borders.
We connect business, contracts and immigration matters into one system — no fragmented decisions or contradictions.
We help you see critical risks faster, set priorities, and choose a solution that works not only legally but for the business.
We know where international projects most often go wrong, what's worth checking in advance, and what costly problems can be avoided.
How We Work
For complex projects, we use Strategic Legal Mapping™ — a proprietary method developed by Tatsiana Turgot to assess the business's entire legal system.
We go through your situation, your goal, decisions already made and the key questions.
We analyse your documents, contracts, status, business structure and how they connect.
We identify risks, priorities and the sequence of actions.
We prepare the necessary documents and support negotiations, applications, structural changes and other legal actions.
Where needed, we continue as your business's external legal partner.
Professional lawyers can join your business at any stage — for a specific matter or ongoing support.

Growth & Structure
A Swedish company expanded into new international markets, but its contracts and internal processes were still built for a local business. We reviewed and updated the commercial contracts, partner agreements, employee documentation, KYC and compliance processes.
The business gained a more coherent legal structure matching its new scale and geography, and key contractual and compliance risks were reduced.
Contract Dispute
The company had delivered goods, but the buyer hadn't paid the remaining amount. Contract analysis revealed a weak point that could have hurt the company's position in court. Instead of immediate litigation, we chose a negotiation strategy.
The client recovered a substantial part of the debt without a prolonged court process, and the company's contract system was revised to reduce the risk of a similar situation happening again.
International Hiring
A Swedish company needed to hire several specialists from outside the EU. After an initial application filed in-house by HR, one candidate was refused. We revised the strategy and documents and split the hiring process into stages.
The required specialists received approvals, including the previously refused candidate, and the company gained a more reliable model for international hiring.
What We Help With
What matters is what's happening right now
and what outcome you want to reach.
Launch or expand your business, define the right legal structure, prepare contracts, bring in local specialists and organise project support.
Get clarity on the legal structure, contracts, Swedish market requirements, international hiring and related immigration questions.
Understand how the move affects your status, business, work, property, family and obligations in both countries.
If you keep a company, job, income, property, pension or other financial ties in Sweden, it's important to understand how they fit with your life and status in Spain.
Check your immigration strategy, employer requirements and documentation before applying — or resolve a refusal and an issue that has already come up.
Review the legal side of the project, the deal structure, local parties involved, and organise support for market entry.
Prepare or review a contract, assess risks, settle disagreements, build a negotiation strategy or prepare for further litigation.
When the business has grown, ownership has changed, you've relocated, new markets or partners have appeared, or documents and processes have piled up that no longer work as one system.

When a task goes beyond our practice, we bring in the right specialist and coordinate the work within the client's overall situation. We also work with advisers from other countries when their client needs legal support in Sweden or Spain.

No. It's enough to describe your situation, what has already happened, and the outcome you want to reach. In the first consultation we'll identify which legal questions need to be resolved and what the next step should be.
De Facto's core practice is focused on Sweden and Spain. If a project touches other jurisdictions, we can coordinate the work with specialist lawyers and other professional advisers in the relevant country.
Yes. On complex projects, we first analyse the overall situation, documents and interconnected risks, build a roadmap, and can then support implementation and coordinate other specialists.
We factor in tax consequences as part of the overall cross-border situation and can identify when a tax adviser needs to be brought in. Complex tax advice is handled jointly with specialist tax professionals.
Yes. We don't only work preventively. This can include contract disputes, issues with partners, work/residence permit refusals, outstanding debts and other situations that already require a legal strategy and a solution.
Yes. For companies that don't need an in-house lawyer, ongoing legal support is available: contracts, legal review, business immigration, negotiations, compliance and coordination of specialist advisers.
When submitting your request, note that it's urgent, describe the situation and your deadline. We'll confirm whether we can take it on as quickly as possible.
We don't treat a contract, immigration status, business structure or market entry as isolated matters. In cross-border projects these decisions are interconnected, so we first assess the whole situation and only then propose specific actions.
Yes. We can join a client's existing team and work alongside their tax adviser, accountant, local lawyer, recruiter or other specialist, without replacing them where their expertise is needed.
